Queen’s Award Winners, SEACON (europe) Ltd, Attend Special Reception at Buckingham Palace
Following the announcement in April of this year of SEACON (europe) Ltd being named winners of a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade. Managing Director, Mr. David Parker and Sales Director, Mr. Kevin Hall attended a special reception on behalf of SEACON (europe) Ltd hosted by HM The Queen at Buckingham Palace on Monday 14th July, 2014.
The Queen’s Award for Enterprise is the highest accolade that a UK business can achieve and was made in recognition of SEACON (europe)’s continued growth and commitment to our international customers and year on year progress, not just in revenue but in customer relations and overall business development.
SEACON (europe) Ltd has seen its exports in the European market grow from just over £1 million in 2010 to over £2.6 million in 2012 and global sales rise from £9.1 million to over £12.6 million in the same period. This is coupled with the continued high profile commitment to product development based on customer needs and the needs of the market place in general. As a business we are also very proud of the significant contribution our staff have had on our performance, a contribution illustrated by our low staff turnover and team spirit.
Only 160 Queen’s Awards were announced this year for outstanding business achievement in the field of International Trade, Innovation and Sustainable Development.
A further celebration and presentation of the award will take place at SEACON (europe)’s facility on Wednesday 30th July, 2014 and will be attended by the Lord-Lieutenant for Norfolk, Mr. Richard Jewson, the Deputy Lieutenant, Mr. Richard Butler and the Mayor for Great Yarmouth, Mrs. Marleen Fairhead.
