SEACON Exhibiting at Seawork International 2016
Members of the media are invited to visit TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, at booth #R2 for the Seawork International 2016 commercial marine and workboat exhibition and conference. TE will showcase the latest innovative solutions in the underwater connectivity arena for many applications within the commercial marine market, including optimized connector assemblies and submersible switches and cable systems.
As marine exploration and support vessel activity continues to expand, equipment like underwater cameras, monitoring systems, sonar and ROVs require reliable connectivity solutions that can withstand greater pressures and adverse conditions while still maintaining electrical performance and high data transfer rates.
SEACON’s 55 dry-mate connector range benefits from a design incorporating features such as gold plated contacts and a reliable sealing technology. This connector series adapts to a variety of applications including lights, ROV’s, umbilicals and diver communications to maintain excellent connector performance.
SEACON is part of TE’s growing portfolio of innovative brands within the marine oil and gas market, which also includes brands such as DEUTSCH, ROCHESTER, and Raychem. These brands will also be featured at the booth. TE will also showcase its SEACON OPTI-CON series of optical hybrid dry-mate connectors, SEA-MATE wet-mate connectors and rubber molded connectors at the show.
TE engineers will be available at the booth throughout the event to discuss connectivity solutions for specific customer applications.
